Squirrels & Beavers Digital Maker Badge Evening
What to expect:
We are offering an event relatively easy for Volunteers, most activities will be ran by the District’s event team with us needing some support from Leaders during the night. This is the perfect opportunity for your young people to earn the Digital Maker Badge Stage 1 without you having to plan the night! We’re also excited to provide each young person attending with their Digital Maker Stage 1 badge!
When and where will the event take place, and what happens during the event?
📅 Wednesday 20th May 2026, 5:45 – 7:45pm.
📍 Primrose Hill Scout Campsite.
The young people will arrive for 5:45pm, where we will have a quick opening ceremony followed by different activities to complete the badge. We will end the night with a closing ceremony where we will hand the badges out ready to leave for 7:45pm.
How much will the event cost, and when would we need to confirm numbers and pay?
The price for young people is £3 per Squirrel and Beaver Scout.
This includes participation in the badge session, access to the campsite and facilities and the Digital Maker Stage 1 badge awarded at the end of the evening.
Squirrel and Beaver Team Leaders/Members are required to attend with their unit, and should take full responsibility for medical information and emergency contact details for this event.
Final numbers and full payment will need to be paid to the District by Sunday 10th May 2026.
