DESCRIPTION:What to expect…\nWe are offering an event relatively easy for Volunteers\, so this sleepover is fully catered\, most activities are ran by Gulliver’s staff and no need to put up tents! Only a sleeping bag is needed. \nGulliver’s is a family-friendly theme park catered towards younger children\, ideal for Squirrels and Beavers! There are a wide range of rides\, shows and themed areas that encourage adventure and imagination. It’s a great opportunity for Squirrels and Beavers to enjoy new experiences\, build confidence\, and have fun together outside their usual meetings. \nThere are plenty of activities to look forward to on the Saturday evening\, followed by a day full of fun\, laughter and rides on the Sunday. \nThere will be plenty of opportunities for young people to work towards badges\, and get to meet other Squirrels and Beavers within the district to make memories that will last a lifetime. \nWe’re also excited to provide each young person attending with their very own Gulliver’s badge! \nTransport is not provided. The park is close to Sheffield and around an hours drive from Scunthorpe. \nWhat will happen during the event?\nSaturday: Arrive from 5pm – evening meal – activities – evening entertainment – lights out. \nSunday: Breakfast – activity – lunch – theme park rides – departure approx. 4pm. \nPricing…\nThe price for young people is £55 per Squirrel and Beaver Scout. \n1 adult per 10 young people can attend the event free of charge\, additional adults are £25.50 each. \nWhile additional adults are more than welcome\, please note that you do not need to have an additional leader in charge. DESCRIPTION:North Lincolnshire District Scouts’ biggest camp is back! With a range of old favourites and new adventures\, join us at Primrose Hill for an action packed weekend of fun\, friendship and adventure.\nInformation for Leaders\nThe camp will run from Friday 1 May 2026 at 6pm to Monday 4 May 2026 at 12pm. It will take place at Primrose Hill Scout Campsite. The camp is for Cubs\, Scouts and Explorers. There will be a limit of 400 young people at the camp. \nPrimJam VI Experience Day for Squirrels & Beavers (Saturday 12:00 ’til 17:30)\nFor Squirrels and Beavers\, the event will cost £15 per young person. This includes a range of activities and our very own unique PrimJam badge. Catering is not included in this price and this will need to be organised within your own group. It may be that you wish to ask your young people to have lunch before arriving\, bring their own packed lunch or arrange with your group that is camping to provide food. Please note that time is allocated in the day for your young people to have time to eat lunch if needed. \nBooking form for Squirrels & Beavers\nTo make a booking\, please complete the online booking form here. You will be sent a confirmation booking form. Please note that bookings are not confirmed until the payment has been received. \n  \nAttendance for Cubs\, Scouts\, Brownies\, Guides & Rangers (Friday to Monday)\nFor Cubs and Scouts\, the camp will cost £60 per young person. This includes camping fees\, all activities\, evening entertainment programme and includes our very own unique PrimJam badge. Catering is not included in this price and this will need to be organised within your own group. \nAttendance for Explorers\nFor this PrimJam\, we are trying something new for Explorers in the district. Instead of Explorers camping with their own group\, Explorers will be camping in our dedicated Explorer zone. The Explorers will have their own space away from other groups and be able to get to know other Explorers from outside their group. They will be catered for centrally and looked after by our fantastic district 14-24 team. The cost for an Explorer to attend will be £80. This includes camping fees\, all activities\, evening entertainment programme and includes our very own unique PrimJam badge. Catering is included in this price. Explorers will just need to provide their own tent/hammock and crockery. If you have any further questions about this then please do get in touch with us. For any adult with a ‘non member – needs disclosure role’\, they will need to complete the mandatory safety and safeguarding training. \nHow to secure a booking\nBookings will be open only to Scout groups in North Lincolnshire until 31 December 2025. After this date\, the event will be open to all Scout and Guide groups. All bookings and payments must be made by 31 March 2026.\nPlaces can be booked by paying a deposit of £15 per young person. This is the perfect opportunity for your young people to earn the Digital Maker Badge Stage 1 without you having to plan the night! We’re also excited to provide each young person attending with their Digital Maker Stage 1 badge! \nWhen and where will the event take place\, and what happens during the event?\n📅 Wednesday 20th May 2026\, 5:45 – 7:45pm. \n📍 Primrose Hill Scout Campsite. \nThe young people will arrive for 5:45pm\, where we will have a quick opening ceremony followed by different activities to complete the badge. SUMMARY:Sailing Voyage with the Ocean Youth Trust
DESCRIPTION:What to expect…\nBy popular demand the “adventure under sail” on James Cook with Ocean Youth Trust is returning for a North Lincolnshire Scouts voyage in August 2026.\nWe will be sailing from Hull marina in the early afternoon of Wednesday 12th and sailing up the east coast to Royal Quays Marina in North Shields\, arriving mid-afternoon of Friday 14th August. \nAll personal protective equipment and wet weather gear will be provided for the duration of the voyage. A full list of suggested clothing and other essential kit will be emailed to participants in plenty of time. \nAt this time transport to Hull Marina and back from Royal Quays Marine is the responsibility of the participants and their parents.  There may be a mini bus option for the return journey but as yet this has not been negotiated. \nWho can attend\, and how much does it cost?\nAll participants need to be over 12 and under 18 years of age at the time of joining the voyage in August.\nWhilst on board all food and refreshments will be provided. Any allergies or dietary requirements should be highlighted on the booking forms sent out separately.\nThe cost of the voyage is £95 per person.  There are 12 places available.
